Roses from the past.....

Obviously these aren't from this year....it's a little early yet! But these are a few of the roses in my yard. I'll be posting more pictures of them but I can only post 5 pictures per post. Anyways, I have lost some of my roses this past year and I have no idea why unless it was the heat and drought. Of course I watered, but there's nothing like a good rain shower! It really kind of breaks my heart to look at these pictures as I see the ones that will be gone this season...:( I guess I'll just have to start anew in those areas. Roses and hydrangeas are my favorites and I have about 50 hydrangea bushes but they too have taken a beating this past year, both from the weather and from "man-made disasters"!

I have these roses drying (and an unseen bouquet of yellow ones) , can you tell I like roses? Wallpaper, cups, I have roses all over the house. I can't wait to see some blooming out in the garden!
I have a new love...apothecary jars! I wish I had more places to sit them.... Do you see my crystal ball? That's what I use to see who has visited my blog....;)
